Wagga Wagga provides challenging and satisfying career opportunities. Yet being a regional city, frustrations over commuting time, traffic congestion and concrete jungles are non-existent!

In 2010 the city’s labour force totaled 32,608 persons with the majority of those people employed in retail, health care, defence, manufacturing, education and accommodation and food services.  The economy is well diversified and as such enjoys a relatively stable employment level. Unemployment in March, 2010 was 4.2 percent, well below the NSW State average of 5.9%.
